The final table of the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event has been confirmed after eight days of competition in Las Vegas. Lucas Jumalon will enter the decisive stage with a substantial chip advantage over the other eight remaining players.
Jumalon finished the latest session with 194 million chips. His stack is more than twice as large as that of Rami Hammoud, who occupies second place with 79 million. Jamie Shaevel is third with 56 million.
All nine finalists have already guaranteed themselves at least $1 million, while the winner will receive the championship title and a $10 million top prize.

Jumalon begins the final table with a lead of 115 million chips over his closest opponent. Several players in the middle of the standings remain separated by relatively small margins, meaning one major pot could quickly change the order.

Jumalon has enough chips to place constant pressure on the shorter stacks. Hammoud remains his closest challenger, while Shaevel, Mueller, Gagliano and Boos form a tightly grouped middle section.
Feng and Evagorou will start with the two smallest stacks. However, both players still have enough chips to improve their positions with one successful double up.
WSOP 2026 Main Event Prize Money Payouts
Every player at the final table has secured a seven figure payment. The difference between finishing positions becomes particularly large near the top of the payout structure.

The eventual champion will earn $4 million more than the runner up. Moving from third to second place is worth an additional $2.25 million, making survival and careful stack management especially important during the closing stages.
Jumalon Adds Almost 154 Million Chips
Jumalon entered Monday’s session far behind his eventual finishing total but added nearly 154 million chips during the day.
One of the most important hands came against Michael Traynor, who had started the session as the chip leader with 63.4 million.
Jumalon completed a full house on the river and collected a pot worth more than 50 million chips. The result gave him control of the table and allowed him to continue increasing his lead as the field moved closer to the final nine.
Traynor experienced the opposite outcome. Despite beginning the day at the top of the standings, he gradually lost his stack and was eliminated in 10th place.
His exit meant he missed the official final table by only one position.
Several Experienced Players Eliminated Early
The tournament has produced several unexpected results, with a number of recognised players leaving before the final stage.
The defending champion Michael Mizrachi was unable to repeat his previous success. Shaun Deeb, who received the 2025 World Series of Poker Player of the Year award, also failed to reach the final table.
Poker Hall of Fame member Todd Brunson was another established name eliminated earlier in the event.
Their departures have created a final table containing players with different levels of experience, stack sizes and playing styles.
Final Table Scheduled for August in Las Vegas
The WSOP 2026 Main Event final table will take place from August 3 to August 5 in Las Vegas.
The first night will be shown on ESPN2, while ESPN will broadcast the final two days of competition.
Jumalon will begin as the clear favourite because of his dominant chip position. However, a final table can change quickly, especially when shorter stacks win all in confrontations or when two leading players become involved in a large pot.
For BCPoker players and poker fans following the tournament, the final stage will feature nine guaranteed millionaires competing for one of the largest prizes in live poker.
