Tom Fuchs produced the biggest tournament result of his career by winning the €100,000 no-limit hold’em Super High Roller in Barcelona. The German professional outlasted a field of 27 entries to secure his second live tournament title and collect $1,306,786.
The victory narrowly surpassed Fuchs’ previous career-best payday of $1,292,000, which he earned by winning a $50,000 high roller in 2024. Despite recording his first live cash only in 2020, the 28-year-old has already accumulated more than $7.2 million in career tournament earnings.
Fuchs, who is now based in Austria, also collected 360 Player of the Year points for the victory. It marked his fifth qualifying result of the 2026 season and strengthened an already impressive year on the high-stakes circuit.
Mokri falls one place short of another Barcelona victory
Kayhan Mokri came extremely close to adding another major Barcelona title to his collection. The Norwegian had previously won this €100,000 event in both 2023 and 2024, giving him the opportunity to claim a third victory in four editions.
Mokri did not cash in this tournament in 2025, although he enjoyed success elsewhere at the same festival that year. In 2026, he returned to the final stages of the €100,000 event and reached heads-up play before eventually finishing second to Fuchs.
The runner-up result was worth $820,120 and lifted Mokri’s lifetime tournament earnings to almost $24.1 million. It was also his seventh final-table appearance of the year, adding another deep run to his strong 2026 campaign.
Jamie Dwan continues impressive 2026 run
Jamie Dwan completed the podium and earned $547,520 for third place, along with 240 Player of the Year points. The result continued a productive stretch for Dwan, who has enjoyed several major finishes during the current season.
His biggest career victory came in July, when he won a $50,000 tournament and collected nearly $2.3 million along with his first bracelet. Only a few weeks later, he added another title in a £2,000 event in Coventry.
Dwan has also reached five final tables during the ongoing Barcelona festival, making his third-place finish in the Super High Roller another notable result in a particularly active period of his career.
Byron Kaverman was the fourth and final player to finish in the money. The American earned $364,240, taking his total live tournament winnings to just under $23 million.
